How a first contact works

Describe your situation in a few lines: legal form or activity, what you expect from the firm, and since when the books have been kept (or have not). If an audit or a filing deadline is running, give the date.

We reply by email or phone, then arrange a first meeting — at the office in Uccle, or by video call. That meeting is there to define the scope and to price the work; neither side is committed by it.

Useful documents for the first meeting

• the latest annual accounts filed, or the trial balance for the current year;
• the latest VAT returns and last year’s tax return;
• the company number and VAT number, if they already exist;
• any recent correspondence from the authorities, including reminders and formal notices.
